    A vintage American childhood icon! Very sweet composition mama doll, a gift to her little girl mama in the 1920’s. She stands 23" tall and is a compo shoulder plate doll with compo head, arms and legs on her original cloth stuffed torso. No makers marked. Working tin sleep eyes with lash. Original mohair wig in original set. Hair is a little flat from being under bonnet all these years but all there. Original painted brow. Open mouth with teeth and tongue. Has all fingers with natural wear. Wears a very nice organza dress with matching bonnet. Original slip and underdrawers underneath. Dolly has typical light crazing and color peel from age and time. She has cracks on her face and her feet. She is not perfect but very pretty and, with careful restoration, very display worthy. No repaints and no repairs.
