    Description

    Spain Magazine a Semi-Monthly Publication of Spanish Civil War Events. Joesph M. Bayo - Editor in Chief and Publisher. New York, NY. English language. Original wartime copies. Nov 15, 1937-Jan 1942. The publication becomes monthly in 1940 covering the immediate post-war events. The Jan 1942 Vol VII publication is issue number 1-2-3 all in one (last issue printed?)
    This lot includes 68 single publications in 7 volumes. All are decommissioned Huron University library copies in school binders. One of the binder needs new fastener. Overall in excellent to very good condition. All issues are complete. No missing pages or cut outs. Pages are white and no foxing. No staple rust. Each one has the issue date hand-writen on the lower cover and page inside stamped with the university’s seal. Extremely rare publication.
    There are a few issue gaps in some of the volumes but it is unknown if they are actually incomplete becuase some of the issues have mislabeled numbers and dates on the cover and inside. This includes 2 sets of Volume IV with totally different content and dates. The second Vol IV starts when the war ended.
